We got to go trick or treating with Brian, Amanda and Lexi tonight! The kids had a blast! After trick or treating, Amy told the kids they had 10 minutes to eat all they wanted, and then we were going communal. Collin's 100 Day Shirt For the 100th day of school, Collin had a project to pull together 100 of something, and he asked for 100 pictures of himself.  We used picasa to find a bunch of pictures of him, and then worked with him to resize the pictures.  While I'll admit I arranged them like this, he did most of the work in picasa.  We printed it out, and Amy went to town sewing it on for him.

Today Amy called me at work to tell me that Abby's hair was a lot shorter, and wouldn't tell me whether or not that was because Abby had cut her hair. We hit the Blue Bell Factory on our way back from Houston today. It was a shorter drive there than it was to pretty much any other place we went to in Houston. You got your pick of one of eight flavors of ice cream to eat as you left. It was perfect for a quick 1/2 day trip!

We took our annual Easter/bluebonnet pictures yesterday, and I decided to try putting the pictures into a video. I have never been fond of the idea of getting a pet. I hate pet hair on everything, and scooping, um, whatnots, and barking, and animals jumping on me. It's funny how even after two other kids, watching Evan learn how to stand and walk is still so awesome. This morning we busted out the clippers and saws and did some serious maintenance on our two trees in the front yard. The kids didn't help as much as they wanted to with the actual trimming, but Collin sure enjoyed the clean up.
