Almost finished!

We need to move this upstairs, wipe it down and fill it up with play food and other accessories, but it's pretty much done. The black parts we ended up painting with chalkboard paint, so the kids can write on it whatever they please. Anyhow, pretty cool, huh?

Pictures and a Project

After it got ridiculously cold, and before it got ridiculously cold again, we had a chance to get out and play in the sun.

We also starting working on a project for Livy's birthday.  We're not done yet, but here's how things have progressed:

I still need to finish filling in gaps, countersink the nails on the top part, finish sanding and paint it, but I think it's coming along really nicely.  Here's what we're trying to make, at least the grocery store (from ana-white.com):

Snow Day!

I took this picture of the kids playing in the snow from our inside our bedroom.

This morning, when Collin came downstairs and saw there was snow outside, and that there was no school today, ran upstairs to get Abby up, shouting all the way:

"ABBY, OUR DREAMS HAVE COME TRUUUUUE!"

Mobile Blogging

So there's probably quite a few of you out there that already know how to do this, but I didn't until tonight. Did you know you can set things up so that you can just send an email and it will post to a blog? I had tried it before, and thought it didn't work, but it turned out that it did work, I was just using it wrong.
