Musical Sheens?

What the heck. I just checked out Derrick's picasa site and saw that not one, not two, not three but all four of my brothers can play the guitar or sing. Bwhat? When did this happen? I guess it all makes sense, but it got me thinking, where are my musical skills? What do I do to add to the melody of life, aside from belting out DMB or Coldplay or JJ on my way to seminary and work? Not much I'm afraid. The trombone sits in the closet, and is only busted out when I want the kids to get a good laugh out of the noise, and don't ask me about Amy's old violin. So what, I ask myself, am I to do? And then it hit me - I have a piano sitting behind me RIGHT NOW.

So Amy's probably going to have me edit that paragraph later but for those of you who check this blog more often than I edit it, enjoy those thoughts.

Also, Christmas in CA was great! We got to go to the Nut Tree a bunch, Collin and Abby got to try out bunk beds, Amy and I got to put together a 1000 piece puzzle with the Phillippis, we got to play Wii and go to movies and the tree farm and go on walks... phew! It was a really fun time for our family with our CA family!

Frankly, I was amazed too. Derrick who just makes up his chords...how he does that and pulls it off I have no idea. Tommy who took hardly any time to learn a song. Brant who taught himself. And Jordy who trust me doesn't practice much at all because a certain toddler likes to attack the guitar. Props to the Sheen boys. I'm waiting for your piano concert next, logan.
