Today Abby was in the playroom when I called her for lunch.
"Abby, lunch time." - Nothing
Again I called "Abby, come for lunch." - again nothing.
Finally a little louder, "Abby, please come to lunch."
"Sorry mom, I didn't hear you the first two times you called me."

ahh...silly abby---selective hearing only works when you don't give yourself away.
Maybe Wade and Abby have the same five-year-old disease. He hasn't given himself away like Abby yet, though. ;)
