So I'm not sure how long this will last but I thought when I had parking spaces for the kids bikes, the garage stayed so clean for so long. This doesn't look as pretty as nicely arranged parking spaces and whatnot, but I feel like it's a solidly clear message, at least to the ones that read. :)

I like you're ideas of organization. Hopefully you will eventually be able to claim a little more space there for big daddy toys!
